Israeli inventor Izhar Gafni likes a challenge, so when three different engineers told him it was impossible to make a working bike out of cardboard, he rose to the challenge. Gafni discovered that by using the principles of origami, he could make a strong, weight-bearing bike capable of carrying a rider up to 485 lbs!  The bike is durable and weatherproof. Best of all, it is economical and eco-friendly.  The materials only cost $9.  Pair that with labor, and the bike is projected to sell for $60-$90.  Giora Kariv is a friend of Gafni’s and made a documentary about the bike.  He predicts:

Top astronomers from the United Kingdom has said with in next 40 years we could be able to discover alien life in our universe. Lord Martin Rees,the president of the Royal Society of London said that as soon as 2025 astrophysicist could be able to view images of planets out side of our solar system, and and potentially discover whether there is some form of life on them, the Daily Mail reported. “Within 10 or 20 years we will be able to image other planets like the earth, orbiting other stars. But how about riding a bicycle which can fit in your pocket and whose paddle is 5 times smaller than your feet?you might be thinking of the kind of cycle that one might witness at the circus with a parrot doing acrobats on, but here it is actually being ridden by a russian adult in full cycling gear. The small cycle is complete in all respects. It possesses two minute wheels, pedals, handlebar etc, but in size it is not larger than a man's shoe. This might sound fictional & unbelievable but its true. Canadian film maker Rob Spence, who damaged his right eye in a childhood accident, is determined to replace it with a digital camera. "Team Eyeborg" has just succeeded in fitting Spence with an artificial eye containing a working LED – a step towards a camera-containing synthetic eye. Spence and engineer Kosta Gramatis have succeeded in placing a working red LED in Spence's eye giving him a look similar from Arnold Schwarzenegger's cyborg in The Terminator. This camera will record everything that enters Spence's field of vision and relay the footage back to a computer. Gary Galka lost his daughter in a car accident eight years ago and has since built over 30 devices designed to communicate with spirits including one that he believes has recorded his daughter's ghost saying "hi daddy, I love you." In addition to selling his inventions on his website Galka has also featured on an episode of the TV series Ghost Adventures on which he demonstrated one of his devices recording a voice during a paranormal investigation. "No one was making products for these people," he said.His devices are sold through the Professional Measurement website and range from $79 to about $350.
